Seneca Nation of Indians – Cattaraugus Sports Complex

KTH Architects, Inc. designed this LEED® Silver Certified, 95,000 square foot Sports Complex and Community Center for the Seneca Nation of Indians at the Cattaraugus Reservation in Irving, New York. The project features a grand foyer entry and gathering space with coffee bar; dance/yoga/spinning studio; fitness room with aerobic and weightlifting equipment; double gymnasium with elevated walking track overlooking the gym; multi-purpose rooms; concession area complete with kitchen; arena with seating for 1,000 people; designated “Elder Seating” luxury box arena seats; and an indoor, 4-lane, competition-sized swimming pool. The facility also features youth centers, native educational facilities, and a display area to honor Seneca athletes and community people.
