Riviére de Soleil Community Care Center is the unique Household Model borne from the “culture change” values of CommCare Corporation, and the elder care planning and design guidance of KTH Architects, Inc. Located in Mansura, Louisiana – the Cochon de Lait Capital of the World, this Household integrates the pride of a community of tradition, the camaraderie of the hunting and country life of central Louisiana, and a deep spirit of caring and of family. The concept brings these values and dedication to fruition offering three independent Households of 14 or 15 residents, linked as three Neighborhoods through Commons connections to a central Village Square. Each Household is a home with individual Front Porch entrances and private Patios, focused around the living hearth of an Activity Kitchen, an engaging Entertainment and Dining core, and the dignity of a Private Room and full, wheelchair accessible bath choice.
