West Palm Beach Housing Authority Harmony Gardens

KTH Architects designed this 99-unit Senior Housing Project concept. HARMONY GARDENS is designed as a place to promote healthy activities, merriment, living and fun with the goal of creating a place that generates life and positive activity. The entire project was designed around sustainable principles with low environmental impact and is organized to grow and cultivate food on site in individual gardening plots located at the center of the project. HARMONY GARDENS proposes to use an array of different doors and unique colors to help personalize the home for each resident, while keeping the building exterior aesthetically consistent. Because each door is unique, it also aides in wayfinding to make it easier for each resident to locate his or her home.
